Property Details
A luxury beachside 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment situated in a brand new complex, which was only completed in April 2003. Direct beach access with a marina on your doorstep and golf course overlooking Duquesa. The apartment is furnished to an extremely high standard with contemporary furniture including leather sofas, wooden patio furniture and natural beds.
At your disposal are four swimming pools, paddle tennis courts, a sauna, small gym and secure underground parking. From the pool and garden area there is direct access to the beach and the busy marina is only a few metres away.
In the apartment, the floors are marble throughout and furnishings and décor are simple and modern with heating/air conditioning throughout.
The sitting room is spacious and equipped with a television with Spanish TV, a DVD player and a mini hi- fi. As this is our second home you will find it better equipped than most self-catering accommodation with a few home touches and a large stock of paperbacks (over 100), films and more than 100 CDs.
There are two double bedrooms. A double with an en suite bathroom with powerful shower over and a twin room with shower room (travel cot bed available). The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher, washing machine, full oven and hob, fridge freezer and microwave. A welcome pack in included in the price and in the kitchen we have stocks of dry goods which will enable you cook substantial meals or you could spend time on the large balcony where you can use the gas barbecue and dine out overlooking the pools and sea.
Ample linen, towels, beach towels and cotton robes (including children’s) are provided. Weekly maid service and laundry of linens is included and there is a good stock of cleaning equipment for intermediate cleaning (alternatively you can pay extra for this locally).Area Description
In the marina there are several restaurants with different cuisines, numerous cafes and bars, a bank, a small supermarket and other facilities.
Among the many attractions too numerous to list fully are:
The La Duquesa yachting marina.
Miles of uncrowded Blue Flag beaches – no hi-rise development.
Promenades with bars, restaurants, cafés and services.
Championship 18 hole golf course - par 72 in walking distance. Several top class courses around.
Shopping and bustling nightlife minutes away.
Easy airport access via the motorway.
Easy access to the Andalucian cities of Granada, Jerez, Cordoba, Seville, Cadiz, Gibraltar, Tarifa and the Pueblos Blancos
There is an excellent hypermarket on the outskirts of Estepona, a 15-minute drive away, with a huge array of seafood and local produce. A new supermarket has opened nearby during 2003, which should provide for all your self-catering needs.
You will find that fruit and vegetables have a longer growing season than in England, making them taste much better and be priced lower. Spanish wines are excellent and a good bottle can be bought for less than 3€. You could always go to Gibraltar for duty free goods where sterling is legal tender.
Ronda, Seville, Jerez, Cadiz and Morocco day trips. Pueblos Blancos, Tarifa and the Costa de la Luz nearby. Granada & Cordoba striking distance.Transport
